IvyPrep course carefully breaks down the SAT into topics and question types, allowing students to build up necessary skills and gain knowledge of the SAT in a step by step process.
Instructors
Our 3 and 6 month courses are taught by Instructors that have been selectively hired based on confirmed history of successfully teaching the SAT. Curriculum
IvyPrep courses feature a unique curriculum, specializing in techniques and skills needed to handle various types of questions featured on the SAT. IvyPrep class sizes are limited (generally ranging between 6 – 10 students). Each session stresses a specific topic or a skill and includes explanations of real SAT questions. All presentations are projected onto a screen, making it easier for students to participate and follow. While many companies rely on tricks and shortcuts, IvyPrep focuses on the comprehensive preparation approach – building logic skills and strategies needed for different types of questions tested on SAT. Our practice problems are carefully selected to reflect every content area of the exam. IvyPrep curriculum also involves a number of advanced SAT problems.
Individual Approach and Extra Help.
We work hard to create an individual program for every student. For students who need extra help we offer tutoring in Math, English, and assistance with Home Work. We also schedule office hours to provide students extra help with homework problems and individual attention outside the class.
Throughout the course our instructors will provide students with honest and explicit progress evaluations. If student needs extra help with basic Math or English, we will offer effective and affordable solutions.
Focus
We teach only the SAT. We spend all our time, energy, and resources to develop materials and strategies for one exam only. As a result IvyPrep ensures quality of instruction and materials that "one size fits all" test-prep companies cannot provide.
